Clearing Your Workspace

One of the main problems I have when working with high resolution images is that I find that the floating menu’s and tool bar get in the way. This doesn’t have to be a problem.
Take this example. Here I have open a screen shot from the upcoming Call of Duty game. You can see that parts of the image are blocked by the tool bar and floating menu’s:
This can be all sorted out by pressing the Esc key, now we have a lovely clean view to alter our image:
To get the tools back we just hit Esc again and the menu’s come back. If you want to remove the floating menu’s with out removing the tool bar then just add Shift to the mix so Shift + Esc
